As a lifelong Liverpool fan I bought my daughter a BIG red and white Teddy 50+ years ago. We called him Emlyn. She still has him.

Tennis balls are yellow because David Attenborough suggested it would make tennis better on TV.
Having previously been white and harder to see against the white lines.

That shade of 'yellow' looks green to me. I've been tested for colour blindness and I don't have it.

We do have a problem at home where my wife calls some bowls blue
when to be they are well over the boundary in green!!

That's the discussion I have from time to time with my wife. My colour vision is ok-ish but I can't distinguish between some shades. I argue that as colours are just labels we attach to various wavelengths of light and as far as I'm aware there are no strict cut of points where one colour becomes another, then my perception is perfectly valid. 🌈😁

Not if it is a very different green. The balls are yellow, but tending towards the greener end of yellow.

That's only at Scottish tennis clubs (and when the waether is too bad for golf).

I have a Liverpool teddy too! We lived in the far NW of England till I was 5, so I had an excuse to be a Liverpool fan.
