The News is full of Rory Mcilroy "winning" the green jacket at the Masters (well done to him).
However, to be accurate he only gets to borrow it for 12 months and must hand it back next year. Assuming he attends next years Masters he can still 'borrow' it during the comp but only to wear around the clubhouse.

The winner also has to host the champions dinner the following year for all the previous winners.
They get to pick the menu but also have to pay the bill which is about $10,000.

I was reading that.
My menu would be........
Bowl of Heinz tomato soup.
1 sausage, 1 egg and chips.
Ice cream (optional wafer).

@Dave7, every winner wins a green jacket, it becomes their property (i.e no borrowing occurs), but not to take home*.....they have to store it in the club house at Augusta in the winners cloakroom, to be worn only around the Augusta club. Multi-year winners re-use their jacket, but a winners jacket is never passed onto anyone else.. *A dispensation is given to a first time reigning champion to remove it from the club grounds during their 1 year reign.

In 1960, brothers Tom and James Monaghan purchased a small pizza store named DomiNick’s in Ypsilanti, Michigan, for $900. The shop was located near Eastern Michigan University and aimed to serve college students affordable, fast pizza. The early days were tough. Tom handled most of the operations while James juggled it with his job as a mailman. Just a year into the business, James decided he wasn’t interested in continuing and traded his 50% stake to Tom in exchange for a used Volkswagen Beetle.

Tom continued building the business, rebranding it as Domino’s Pizza in 1965. Tom expanded aggressively using a franchising model and introduced innovations like the 30-minute delivery guarantee. By the late 1990s, Domino’s had become one of the largest pizza chains in the world. In 1998, Tom sold 93% of the company to Bain Capital for around $1 billion.

The Mitsubishi Diatone D160, the largest 60-inch subwoofer ever made in the 1980s. Weighing 800 kg, can easily shatter windows and generate small earthquakes that can be felt as ground vibrations within a 2 km radius.

At the Koriyama factory, testing was initially conducted in a measuring room, but was interrupted due to ceiling lights falling due to vibrations. The outdoor test appears to have had a negative impact on the neighborhood. At a distance of about 100 meters from the subwoofer, the sound was noticeable, but at greater distances, it was transmitted to the ground as vibration and noise rather than an audible sound. Damage such as vibrations, small earthquakes, and noise from walls and windows occurred within a 2 km radius of the factory.

Gustav Häkansson, nicknamed “Stilfarfar” (“Steel Grandpa”), was a Swedish cyclist who became a legend for his grit and stamina in his 70s. In 1951, at 66, he was denied entry to the Sverige-loppet, a tough 1,000-mile bike race from Haparanda to Ystad, because he was over the 40-year age limit.
Unfazed, he rode the race anyway on his old bike, sporting a homemade bib with a red zero. Starting a minute after the last official rider, he biked without support, sometimes going three days without sleep.
He finished first in 6 days, 14 hours, and 20 minutes—24 hours ahead of the official racers. Häkansson lived to 101, passing away in 1987.
