Not even random.
An actor is from somewhere. They all are.
Indeed they are (actors) but it's the fact that's random, rather than odd. We could have a "true but random facts" thread but, for me, that would be somewhat pointless.
Last Sunday whilst heading to Harlech I was listening to Radio 2, and they were talking about odd true facts.
I still can't get my head around one of them that they talked about for nearly 20 minutes.
Right here goes.......
If you had a sheet of paper that was 0.5 mm thick and you fold it in half and then again and again up to 42 times ( I know it would be physically impossible)
But if you could, how high would it stand up.
Apparently it would go from the earth all the way to the moon ( that's be around 240000 miles)
They were arguing for ages on the radio until someone did the maths.
Even a search on Google says this is true.
Totally bonkers true odd fact
If you sail east to west along the Panama Canal, you leave the Pacific Ocean and enter the Atlantic Ocean.
You can't really travel East to West though.
yes you can.
Not dissimilar from the rice on a chessboard calculation. Keep doubling things and the numbers get very large much quicker than you imagine.
