Recommend a phone please

My 8 year old phone has packed in. It won't charge up now. I'll have to buy another. Sad as i usually get someone's cast off for free. Please recommend me an easy to use,cheap to run and cheap to buy phone please.

That's the type i'd prefer. I'm not keen on those touch screen thingies. Could i get the internet on that one?

Like you I'm glad its not touch screen, thank The Lord. It has very basic internet access. Other than once to test the internet actually works, I don't use it. It has Twotter and Farceboke apps built in if that's your thing, but I don't use that either.

Not all Nokia's are from the 90's.

But personal opinion from someone who's used something, is better than simply being told "this, everyone's going for it", when you go to a shop.

If you don't want a smart phone, what about a new Nokia 3310?

Or if you can be tempted to try a smartphone with all those fancy apps like Garmin, Strava and Ride With GPS, you won't go far wrong with a Motorola G4.
