I like that, very handy if needed at the roadside.
I can't believe anyone would buy a tool to close the links. If they won't close with a light manual pull then I move the connector to the run of chain from cassette to top of the chain ring and with the wheels on the ground just push on the pedals to snap the link into place, simples

Yep, used both this and the chainring trick when changing a chain the other day. Still be a time when the tool is needed and no doubt better for the chain.

2 thin alan keys or anythink that will go through the links then push togeather..or just get some chain tool pliers
