Recommmend a fibre broadband ?

Plusnet did suffer 2 outages last year, where they actually lost over 50% of their network, as you can imagine the level of calls at that time was unprecedented, as to a static IP it's always been an option in the time I've been with them, which must be coming up to about 20 now.

Only one of them was the big outage, and I was ringing the next day. The other lack of service was just me, according to their web site which I checked from work which didn't report any other problems. And they definitely couldn't offer me a static IP address.

Up and running again finally, i had to ring sky and get them to ramp the speed of the line up again .
After some badgering i got loss of service refund and pushed it for free fibre upgrade , free for 6 months which should make it 3-4 times as fast as what i was getting before all the hassle .
