The clip is of someone getting their head smashed open. The primary concern to anyone who isn't a complete waste of skin ought to be how he is. We know RLJing is bad, I can't quite bring myself to point and laugh at someone who's been badly hurt after making a mistake.

Bit scary that just a couple of miles from the biggest hospital in wales the ambulance took 35 minutes.

The cyclist should have been turning right out of that junction. I wonder if he didn't notice the car as it was hidden first by the van and then by the signal control boxes. He may then have mistakenly believed that the lane he was crossing was clear up to the camera car and been looking to his left as he exited the junction, to check the traffic flow he was joining. He might have thought that he could make it across in front of the red car if he was quick.

Just conjecture and doesn't excuse the RLJ, but might explain why he came barreling out of the junction at the speed he did.
