I've looked at FB and seen there is a post now.

It also showed me my memories for today.... the water in the tunnel was this day 2012! How is that for coincidence!

Some went round the top, but as we hadn't had the path shut for months on end at that point so I didn't know the way around the top I decided to go through!

Saw it this morning in the light - big pit full of muddy water. Wonder what the longer term solution is?.

Apparently the main work cost £20k. I suspect the design engineers Xmas bonus will disappear due to the extra cost. Unbelievable they didn't put the drainage in but kudos to the council for reacting as well as they have to rectify the issue.

Yes, they appear to have put a soakaway in. Just in time I say as today was flippin' brassic and that water would be a mini glacier!.
