Hi All

I'd previously just lurked as a guest to these forums but a SMIDSY last night has left me needing some advice please.

I've been using an old Ridgeback mountain bike for my 17 mile round trip commute approaching 2 years now, up until it was squashed by a Nissan yesterday  I had been planning to treat myself to a Boardman hybrid once the weather improved but now find myself bike shopping slightly sooner than anticipated!

There is a brilliant LBS nearby that are Specialized and Ridgeback dealers, and I'd love to buy from them again. So my question is, do I stick with the original Boardman idea or are there any bikes from either of these brands that I should be considering? Maximum spend is likely to be up to £600.

Many thanks in advance!

Shouldn't SMIDSY be 'contributing' as well ?
