Replacing a chain

Its a Saracen hardtail MTB, not sure of the specifics off-hand as it isnt mine, i'd say its a 2007ish model, it gets used quite a lot, but maintained VERY rarely.

i got a good chain tool from halfords around a tenner i think ,
good quality product and compact enough to carry on a ride .
