Replacing a spoke on a Brompton

Changing a puncture I noticed that it was caused by a spoke which is high in the inside of the rim. The nipple is rounded off. Is spoke replacement on a Brompton as easy as it looks?

No easier or harder than any other wheel imho.

Can't you just file the end of the spoke so it no longer protrudes past the rim, you can then add more rim tape before refitting the tube.

I thought of that but wondered if metal filings in that area might cause more problems.

File the spoke down, remove any filings with paint brush and vacuum cleaner, finish off with a magnet for peace of mind.

Or take the spoke out to file down and refit. Make sure you keep the nipple up thread though to reform the thread as you unscrew it.
