Just a thought.

Anyone who is either the driver friend of the driver and posts such veiled threats is clearly unhinged to some extent (notice no kind of contrition bar blaming his behaviour on another vehicle).

You may want to change those parts of your commute and/or alter the times of your commute for a while.

Additionally, it is very easy to get the drivers name & address of the DVLA for a few £.

Bit harder when the vehicle is a fleet vehicle.

On the subject of being able to trace a person through internet information, its possible. And, if you really feel like scaring yourself you can find out the adress of the person. Put that information through G.E. and you can bring up a picture of their house.
Check local estate agents & you can possibly find out who else lives at that address.
