Saw a scooter get taken out by a muppet pulling out carelessly from the Albert Hall last year, and gave my details as a witness. £200 fine, £70 costs, and 3 points on his license according to the letter I just got. I do wish he'd also got forced to take a driving improvement course.

Annoyingly the twunt was on his phone as we walked off, complaining that the scooter rider was riding "too fast". Huh!

Excellent result, and nice that you were updated.

This is the first thing that anyone who has just knocked a 2 wheeler off says. What they mean is that they didn't look properly, and only saw the rider just before they got splattered across the tarmac.

Good stuff. Agree that a driver-improvement course should be prescribed for such wazzocks.
  5. One reason why I dislike mobile phones so much.
