Reusable shopping bag mystery.

Being a tree hugger, I've always been a big fan of reusable shopping bags.
However, with the new rules about paying for shopping bags many of you might want to join me in musing about where reusable shopping bags disappear to?
Our house is like the Bermuda Triangle for shopping bags.
Where do they go?

I dont know, but i bet where ever they are , they will be full of all the odd socks that dissappear in the washing machine

Seriously though, ours live by the front door, but one of the plastic ones recently had a bottle of milk that had clearly leaked inside it, so it was soon stinking.

Actually, it was my parent's bag really, and its going to take more than that to save the planet anyway.

We've.got an ikea shoe storage cabinet next to our front door, but one of the cubby holes is allocated to shopping bags.
Doesn't stop them disappearing.
Was just discussing this with my mother earlier and she sheepishly returned five to me that have been used to transport her dog from my house to hers in a taxi!

I have three cotton ones:
One is my hybrid's pannier for shopping.
The second is in the Brompton's bag for shopping while at work.
The third is the smart one which is used for trips when I don't take a bike.
