I got this light along with a Smart R1 which I was waiting to come back in stock from PX.
You're right that the bracket feels pretty flimsy, the R1 is far superior and feels more secure.

However the Phaart is a great light for £2.50 so I have the R1 on my seatpost and the Phaart sits inside the netting of my Hump rucksack cover.

I've lost two RSP Astrum's recently - the £12 version on the Beep - both clips snapped off the lights. Bracket still on the bike.

Some lights are very good, some not so.

My Bleep bracket is still flying strong, no issues here.

Update: My Phaart Bleep died today and I have no idea why  It was working perfectly up until today and it just won't turn on despite trying three different set of batteries.
