If you got 8, which I think is the hardest, you should get 0.

(1 + 1 + 1)! = 6
2 + 2 + 2 = 6
(3 x 3) - 3 = 6
√(4 x 4) + √4 = 6
5 + (5 / 5) = 6
(6 - 6) + 6 = 6
7 - (7 / 7) = 6
(√(8 / 8) + 8)! = 6
(√9 x √9) - √9 = 6

4 might in fact be simpler as √4 + √4 + √4

8 - √(√(8 + 8)) = 6
