There are some sites where they'd frown at a chap with painted toe nails but not here, we're inclusive eh mate?!
Good grief, all this pedantry whilst missing the major, important point:
Crackle was wearing WHITE SOCKS with sandals!
Really, enough of all this displacement activity, let's get back to our proper job of pointing and laughing.
Oi! @Crackle! Hahaha!
You need to appreciate that what may be acceptable on New Brighton beach may not necessarily be acceptable elsewhere
I am special though so the cats tell me or is that just cupboard love.

Tsk.I am starting to feel the tide of public opinion going against me on this one. However, in mitigation, this was a one off (honest officer) situation of a chilly bike ride (hence socks) with significant standing around bits (hence the non--cycling footwear)
I suppose I could have taken the socks off but I would have still been caught by the "no long trousers with flipflops/sandals" rule

Sandals on steroids, dreamt up by marketing men. Too big to slip into panniers, too elegant to get truly dirty and not really sturdy enough for anything but catching the train. I fear you've been conned.
Surely this applies to everything one owns?too elegant to get truly dirty.
You still take an ownership approach to ones domestic staff then?Surely this applies to everyone one owns?
