How about these bad boys that I picked up in Tangier this summer. Presupposing I'm OK to wear them per se, what does the CC massive think about the "shoes with shorts" and the "shoes without socks" ???

I think those dreadfully trendy people who live in Laandaan wear those with skinny, slightly too short rolled up chinos. are you one of said persons hiding out in Derbyshire?

are they sheep skin lined?

im a little worried about the state of the nations footwear at the moment.

They are marketed as slip on shoes to be worn with shorts, sans socks, in warmer climes m'lud. They've been in the cupboard since I got back . Having said that, I'm in Laaaandan next week so maybe they could get a run out if I can hitch my chinos up a bit?

Do they have a rubbrised sole for outside use? If not they are carpet slippers and may only be worn indoors whilst a pipe is clenched between your teeth....

Fully rubberised. I have to admit, being a simple Englishman, the feel of shoes without socks is a little uncomfortable. To reduce this distress I tend to wear them with those funny little trainer sock things that I pinch from my 16 year old

Slippers with rubberised soles are.............well, slippers. you can't wear them outside. It's like putting cats on leads.
