RIP Bill Oddie

Met him once and he seemed nice - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjejw8pq5elo - RIP at the age of 85.

He was filming a bird-related piece by the River Trent in Nottingham opposite my school. Despite strict instructions not to go over the bridge next to the school to watch it being filmed I did anyway.

Someone who I really appreciated, regardless of what he did. He was funny, intelligent and interesting. Just by watching him. You could see he loved life. RIP Bill. I appreciate your contribution to life.

RIP, but I went off him (and Bill Bailey) after catching them on Richard And Judy once where they were asked if bird watching was just like watching trains.

They then went on this big thing about how awful being into trains was compared to birds, with absolutely no defence put up and they were also talking out their arses about it anyway as even I could see massive flaws in their arguments - They clearly knew nothing about what Rail Enthusiasts actually do!

Sorry Messers Bailey and Oddie, but no, just no. My estimation of them went through the floor, especially as you'd think they would have been intelligent enough to know better.
