A chainsaw, with which, having jumped into the sea many hours later, following a long period sitting at the end of the breakwater, he entirely dismembers an incoming yacht which he believes to contain a large quantity of drugs: it doesn't.
As an aside, everyone looks ridiculously young in that film. Even Alexei Sayle, who I thought was born middle-aged, looks almost young.
