Caught this on my commute home tonight. No 1 may be marginal - but it felt like an RLJ at the time. No 2 is clearcut. To report or not to report - that is the question . . .

They'll probably just pull out the 'on vital police business' line.

Also if you are a local and it's a reasonably small town then making a name for yourself as a 'trouble maker' is not worth it.

They looked like they were in a hurry to me, and it was a pelican crossing which was clear of peds. The speed they were cycling at suggested they had somewhere to go sharpish. By all means report the incident as you see fit, and you may well get an explanation.

I would not bother, you can imply they RLJ'd but it's not actually shown on the video.

Personally I do not bother with incidents involving the emergency services, as I never know when I might need them, unless it was dangerous and so far I have never seen anything like that.

What I didn't say is that the local cop shop is about 200 yards down the road they've turned into. There must have been something good on the telly!
