Road bike hire in London?

Hi all. I'm forwarding this from a Bicycle Network Victoria forums member 'UJ1':

Can anyone recommend a hire bike company preferably in central London that hires road bikes? Best I've found is Action Bikes in Dacre Street Westminster which has basic Trek road bikes for hire (Trek 1.2) which are not too bad given my intended use.

Can anyone help?

onyourbike.com is another one and that's mostly Treks too just in a different part of London. Never used them so cannot rate them but its an option. Action Bikes is in a good central location if that helps.

I'm based in N London, does anyone know of a bike hire place in that neck of the woods (I'm looking for a road bike)? If not I'll give Action Bikes a go.

The Ride London people are advertising a bike hire service in connection with the event - might be worth taking a look at the site and following the links.
