If it's any indication of Cheshire roads, I reported 3 potholes on Friday last week via Fillthathole.

All within 100ft of each other, 2 are still there and 1 has been filled so it is now a mound with 1cm high edges on it rather than a hole. Genius. The bike lane on the other side of the road is full of cracks and is so rutted it's just about suitable for someone on full suss.

It's almost unusable on a road bike but it's not bad enough for repair according to the council

I've noticed a lot of the 'repairs' fail after a few months anyway.
There was one on the main road near here that I saw re-open twice, and I only go that way once every 3 weeks :headshake:

There is one 'posh' road that's not done - the Oak Road that runs from Mottram St Andrew towards Birtles - came down there - what a mare, holes and debris everywhere ! Oh and Mill Lane by the Golf club is dangerous on the S bends.

Stockport council have openly said they won't repair holes under a certain size (and they are big enough to lose a cycle wheel in).

Oak Road is one of my commute routes. It is fast if you are going down it towards Mottram and Wilmslow. I have ridden it so many times I know where the worst holes are but you wouldn't want to do it at night with anything less than a magicshine, the surface is deteriorating in a number of places and a bloomin farmer has been dropping mud and debris all over it for the last couple of weeks, it is getting so muddy near his farm that I am tempted to complain to highways.

The repairs are a waste of time. They just disintegrate with a wet spell followed by a frost.
