Hmm ... that would present a significant speed bump in the road. Thanks for the tip, would have been a little frustrating to have found out on the day.
I'll do the ride any way as its a nice 50 miler from Oundle. For my X I'm going to have to try Exhall in deepest, darkest Warwickshire instead.

There is, done it many times. A road bike with lightly treaded tyres 28/32 mm is more than suitable for the gravel section s

The roads are fine, but you do get the odd driver who thinks you should not be on the road- self importance snooty attitude.

Im not looking forward to living there when our house is built. Only bonus Rutland water wil be very near.
