I'm surprised no-one has mentioned that as the group metamorphosed from being 'The Hawks' (Ronnie Hawkins backing group) into The Band backing Bob Dylan when he 'went electric' they spent a year being booed on stage with shouts of "Judas" being shouted at Dylan and one memorable time when in answer to the boo's and cat-calls Dylan turns round on stage and calls "Play the fu*ker loud Robbie"
