It could be drains but it may be gas ?

I always wondered where all the tyres go. You put them on the car with plenty of thread and they get smaller over time.

I have a bad feeling that the answer is into the water cycle in the form of tiny particles.

I can tell you from a personal near-death CO experience*** that you can't smell it so CO was not the source of the smell! Mind you, it is a good idea to have a CO detector anywhere that there is a gas appliance.




*** A faulty gas fire in an upstairs room rendered me unconscious for over an hour. I eventually came round with a thumping headache and managed to crawl downstairs to safety before blacking out again! :eek:
