Sorry I don't have a definitive route planned yet, that is why I was asking if anyone on here had done it to look at routes previously used.

I think I have some routes for the Lôn Las Cymru (Welsh E2E), but that might not be what you are after.

Still not sure if you're looking for an actual route, or people's reviews of routes?
In any case, I'd suggest starting with https://cycle.travel/map . The main Sustrans routes are highlighted on that. For more info then, look up the Sustrans site itself.

I'm not long back from a trip to Ireland and followed Route 5 (from about Chester) to Bangor, then Lon Las Cymru (Route 8) to Holyhead. There was some "rough stuff" in that some of the roads are very.... rural . And some tough climbing! Very tough climbing! The section along the coast was fantastic (Prestatyn to past Colwyn Bay).

+1 to cycle.travel If you snoop around that site, there are already some routes saved. Out to Pembrokeshire etc.

Also try Komoot which I have recently been playing with because it uploads to my Wahoo fairly easily.
