Route suggestion Ebbsfleet to Sidcup

Next week I need to cycle Ebbsfleet to SIdcup (station). RWGPS shows this https://ridewithgps.com/routes/16636978

Any comments about it, or better ideas. Will be using Garmin 1000 for turn by turn. Not in a great rush but equally I am fairly happy on busy roads

There are two general routes.

Either across country via hextable, old Swanley village, Footscray and sicup.

Or

More direct and built up through Dartford, crayford, the edge of Bexley along Hurst road into sidcup.

The hextable route is a lot more rural and quite pretty in parts.

The other...just isn't.

If you let me know which you prefer, id be happy to knock up a gps route for you.

sorry, not got round to replying! I took a direct-ish route including some weird diversions through dodgy areas. Never seen signs in urban areas before warning people not to graze horses on wasteland

Luckily my daughter's area is Sidcup and very much nicer than I imagined
