The happy couple got me a telling off from my 85 year old gran today. An independant and feisty lady. She didn't appreciate the tin of biscuits I took her with a picture of their gurning faces on the top. Not what you could call a royalist, my gran.

Kingston-upon-Hull has had exactly zero applications for street parties. Paul Heaton sums up the mood perfectly here. He'd like my gran.
