Reduce team size to 8 in all races (which is what it is for classics, 25 teams of 8). Maybe reduce maxiumum field size to 160 for GTs, so 20 teams. No organiser "wild cards" (or, shove in a team from home country that has little or no hope) just first division and the current top ranked div 2 teams.
In the classics, team size 6 or 7 with 25 teams (150-175 riders).
Forget about silly things like salary caps, everyone knows ways round that sort of nonsense, the best riders and best teams will always get a good payday (and why not?).

What have the majority of the posts got to do with 'Rule Change'? Why don't you start a new thread?

Team promotion/relegation, ending top-level race overlaps and so on are all rule changes, aren't they? Or is your comment directed at some other group of posts? Using the "Reply" or "Quote" links would have made that post more informative.
