I hate getting up in the morning, and have often found myself in a rush and running late for work first thing in the morning. I've recently discovered that if I'm running late it's actually quicker for me to slow down on the way in rather than speed up! By keeping my 7 mile commute low intensity enough to not break a sweat I can arrive at work 5-8 minutes later than if I bomb it all the way, but save 10-15 minutes by just getting changed rather than having to take a shower to get rid of sweat.
More haste less speed wins the day again!
It's a lazy (and un-washed) man's world!
