TF.. Cool. Just need to find out what time everyone is arriving here. Fingers crossed!
Heated gloves sound good for this kind of weather! Do you have a link to the supplier?
I've actually been getting on fine with some Thinsulate gloves on the 123 chilly miles that I've done wearing them this winter.
Given the uncertainty of the weather forecast, can I suggest a start time to be decided tomorrow? It may be that we are all going to be carrying snow shovels, snow is fine, ice is not. From many, many previous outings with others in "challenging" weather, they have always actually proved to be the most rewarding rides, ones you remember and chat about for years to come.
To answer your question, if all went well we would be back by 2pm but you know how cycling works.
Ok just seen BBC forecast and if they are accurate and the roads are clear on Sunday then it is going to be a winter wonderland, cameras at the ready! Are we the only forum ride going out on the 5th?Such a shame that the weather has taken a turn for the worst again, am just popping for a quick hours blast on the bike to see what it's like cycling in a bit of snow to make sure I can cope with it on Sun. Don't mind cold just not so sure about snow! Fingers crossed, been looking forward to this since last time!!
. sorry its been so long,my computer packed up on me and all things cycling has been keeping me busy. I think it would be best that the forum ride is left till abit later in the month, i have to admit, im put of a little with the possablity of snow on the ground. I dont want to say that i will come only to see snow on the ground in the morning and not turn up. I will give this one a miss because of this but will be keeping an eye open for future rides
) If I get a chance, I might pop by and say hello!
