I've seen the forecast, not good, I've missed two Sundays out and it could be a third if its as bad as they say. I'm laid up with the lurgy at the moment, I don't normally get more than one cold every twelve to eighteen months and I've now had three since Xmas.

Being down with the lurgy when the sun is shining is one thing, at least in this weather it doesn't feel quite so bad. However, the forecast for Sunday is now 4 degrees, tee shirt weather. So long as the ice has gone I'm riding.

Its confusing, one weather site is saying 4 degrees and the other is saying about freezing. I must admit that I hate being ill full stop, it feels just as bad whatever the weather is doing.

Anyway so long as the temp on Sunday is over 3C [enough for any ice to have melted] it is all systems go, fed up with doing very short miles. Meet wherever and set off whenever, suggestions on a postcard...........seriously though I'm thinking 10am start or even 10.30.

Providing it is dry tomorrow, we are riding, we could wait for a better day but then we might wait a long time. First day for ages the temp will be above freezing and the later we go the warmer it looks like being. The plan therefore is to leave at 10.30. It would be wise to swap mobile numbers in case anything comes up PM me if you need this info.

Thread watching before I go to bed, thank you kind sir seems it could just be the two of us riding tomorrow. Last night it went down to -12C, right now it's -2.8C having risen from -6C so at least we are heading in the right direction. Forecast is actually not bad [touches head] for tomorrow and need to get some miles in.

I wasn't sure if this ride was going to be on or not and got something else on today now. Such a shame with the weather but hopefully we will see the last of the snow over the next few weeks.. Have a fun ride & look forward to seeing some pics
