Here is an idea to get you started touring, go on a sub 24 hour tour, but to make it fun camp over night.
We have a local camp site where you can camp in an apple orchard about 20 miles from home.
I can leave after work in the spring, ride to the camp site and stay under the apple blossom, ride home in the morning and still have half of Sat and Sunday left!
