Samsung Galaxy S mini .... SIM card size issue ....

hanging-on in quiet desperation ...
Mrs FF has just taken delivery of a Samsung 4s mini phone to replace her previous Samsung that went kaput...
All's good except it seems that her existing 'standard' sized SIM card doesn't seem to fit (it's too large).
Have SIM cards changed size?
Can she get a smaller one from Vodaphone?

Cheers
FF

Yep. Micro SIM. They should be able to sort it for her.

Afraid I had the same.when I got my new samsung
if you can pop to a phone shop they can give you the new tiny sim.
its a case of transferring all the info so either you put everythingon a device or get your phone shop to swap it over.
I got well pi55ed off with this as it took 5 hrs to sort..

I used to work with phone testers & we regularly had to chop mini SIMs down to micro size, the important thing is to know where to cut & a punch isn't expensive. Pain in the neck to store for testing purposes tho' & getting them in/out of the phones. :cursing:

But why bother when a call to your provider will get you a new one?

@screenman
I'm only aware of 3 sizes.

Not many take the old size cards now though
None, the old size was the full, credit card size when GSM came in.

One available that is just under half that size.
