So I have a Samsung galaxy s5 and it is by far the best phone I have ever came across. The battery power is spectacular

Are you a young person? The phone I had 14 years ago used to need charging once a week at the most, and you could get a high capacity battery that gave it three weeks standby time. Battery life on modern phones is rubbish

Got an S3 here and it's great. I use an app to shut down any apps not being used, so it saves battery.

I am young but I also remember the days of phones which lasted for days but then they weren't mini computers then.

Although the S5 is big I like it I have it strapped to my bike so I can follow routes and so on see my speed and things like that or how far I've went so far. And the bonus is its water proof

You can transfer your apps to sd card

I'm still using an old samsung galaxy S2, it's still adequate but the battery is getting tired and with each update I find I have to remove an app to make space for the remaining favoured apps. I want an upgrade but I'm torn between Samsung Galaxy S5 or something from Sony,LG or Motorola, I'm wary of the samsung bloatware and gimmicky features like 'depth of field' simulators on the camera.
I am also still using an S2, My first one was ruined when I was out cycling in the rain so I got a replacement on my insurance. The battery has become increasingly poor but I recently bought a new one and if I am out all day I carry a spare, but as yet I haven't actually had to use it. I have also tried a few apps that claim to preserve battery, the latest is called Battery Saver and seems quite good.

When my contract ended earlier this year I wanted to upgrade and considered the S4 mini, I would love the S5 but it would cost me at least £30 a month, probably more, but when I realised I could get a SIM only deal that easily covered my average usage for £7.50 a month I decided to take that until my S2 dies - it is still a very good phone even if it is a bit ourdated.

That's the thing that I'm considering atm, do I take the 'upgrade' via a 24 month contract, I'm currently on a sim only contract, I bought the S2 sim free in 2011, or do I keep my sim only contract (or shop about for a better deal) and buy another phone? I don't see a good reason to take the 24 month contract atm, so I'm looking to buy another phone..

The only apps you can't move over are ones that the developer hasn't made to be supported from the sd card
Which means it's not the phones fault or androids it's how the person who created the app didn't install this function
