Sandwiches from your childhood.

    Apart from the obvious all-time favourite of chip sandwiches, I still enjoy the sandwiches I liked as a kid - crisp sandwiches (any flavour) and salad cream sandwiches. My family joke that I can make a sandwich out of any meal I eat.

    Do you have any unusual sandwich fillings from when you were a kid, that you still like.

    Do you find that it doesn't matter what kind of crisps you use, the result always tastes the same (and nothing like crisps)?

    Sandwich Spread. It's gunk, but tasty gunk.

    My fave as a kid and still is, is peanut butter and brown sauce. Luvverly.

    Ooh. I remember sandwich spread sandwiches. You can still buy it.

    Crisp sandwiches

    Fish finger sandwiches

    Luncheon meat and stuffing roll sandwiches

    Egg and salad cream sandwiches (we were never middle class enough for mayonnaise)

    My mom used to make sandwiches with slices of banana in. You bit down on one side and the slices slid out of the other.
