Since moving house my leaf availability has been seriously reduced. The only tree in my garden has already decided to rid itself of all leafage. Most disappointing.Can you do a leaf count for us?
I've had this plant for 22 years and it's now decided to flower for the first time. It makes all thoise years of neglect seem worthwhile.
It's nascent at the mo but, don't worry, I'll keep you updated as it burgeons....

Sansevieria plants are like a lot of houseplants in that they thrive on a little neglect. A mother-in-laws tongue plant will produce a flower stalk when it is mildly and continually stressed.
Paintwork needs a bit of attention![]()

You could propagate from it then give a plant to all the lovely folk on here...

I was thinking a thread on how many small individual sellotape strips from a hand held dispenser it would take to wrap Christmas presents would be a good topic.Perhaps you could do it on a non-drop Christmas tree.
Counting the leaves on that should shut you up for, say, about 596.5 hours.
I'm not getting too excited about the thought of that just yet. This is my afternoon's watching
