Morning
Yep, it's Saturday and it's grey and it's been wet over night and I will meet witch sister from hell for lunch. Perhaps I should slip in some mushrooms.

First: coffee

On and off rain means it might be a case of grab a ride when things look vaguely OK. Need to get supplies and am told that a trip to the garden centre is on the cards 🙄

Apart from that, time to try out some new tracks and cars on the sim rig and maybe watch a spot of footy later.

It's precipitating down like stairs rods here at the moment!
Today Mrs Salad and myself have to walk to a local church to play with our ukulele band, providing musical accompaniment to their craft sale. (Indoors if the weather is inclement!)
Then get some lunch in the town before playing 3 x 15 minute slots in different pubs as part of a "festival of sound", culminating in a seaside jam session at 6.30pm
I hope it's not raining by then, as we will have a decent length walk to get home afterwards......

I am leaving the car at home today because of the attractions of sampling 3 X different beers in the pubs en route........

Not much on the agenda today (other than iv coffee). If it gets brighter as forecast later, a gentle trundle on the bike might be undertaken to take in some distinctly autumnal air, given tomorrow looks pretty grim.

Morning
Damp here but the sun is currently trying to come out. Bertie has been walked and Is now trying to get our attention by wrecking things. Later might be climbing although my thumb aches a bit.

I've decided as it's definitely Autumn that it's time to put the clear tarpaulin up over the back courtyard.

Still, looking on the bright side, it's only three months until the evenings start drawing out again.
