Lie in done, just need to shove bike and kit into the car and head off for the start of today's ride. Ironically we'll end up most of the way back to my house during the ride.
Is that the Cramond Park Run or is there one nearer to you?Bright n breezy up here in the South of the country.
Local ParkRun is celebrating its 250th event this week so I think I'll go along even though the legs are saying uvavu to that suggestion.
It's the village fête worse than death today; it really is a close relative to Big fat gypsy weddings and with both kids now past the age of participation, I'm able to step back and marvel at the wrongness of it all.
Have a good one.
Is that the Cramond Park Run or is there one nearer to you?
Nearest is Oriam ParkRun at Riccarton campus. It's a hilly course and I felt a twinge about 400m in so bailed rather than spend the best of the summer limping.
Crammond is a flat fast course so I might give that one a go once I'm operational again.
Ever been tempted?
The family did C25k during lockdown so did the Cramond then and a couple of years later , my daughter convinced us to do it again! It's certainly flat , unlike running in any direction round here. Daughter has kept up the running 10km and half marathon.
We haven't, stuck to cycling and walking instead.
Copping out of the ride to the ride!
Yep, an extra 30 miles might have put me at a competitive disadvantage.
