I think the hit rate is around 3 in a million and people get conned on average £1,500. It's a numbers game.

Surely computer fraud MUST come to an end one day as people become wiser to the tricks? I remember when I received my first Nigerian "419" scam email and I have to confess that I actually believed it to be true. I showed it to our chairman, then aged in his sixties and he just sneered and threw it straight in the bin.
