I resisted the urge to shout "cheater" as he passed. I just sniggered

The race was still on though. I was just recovering from a hill at 11mph when he took me. The speed quickly increased to 30mph into a headwind and slightly downhill. He was still gaining ground on me. He finally lost me on the climb, when I could barely maintain 15mph.

All fun at the end of the day. It gave me a bit of a push.

What is interesting though (hindsight making us all perfect cyclists): His position on the road is poor compared to mine. He doesnt hold the road through the pinch points, and is way too close to the doorzone for my liking. Do you agree?

P.S. My breathing sounds noisy on camera, I'm sure its not *that* loud in real life!

That's fast for an electric bike, or you were really slow

Never seen a quick electric bike. Quite often see one that looks like a scooter, but the guy is pedalling it. The only other one I've seen moved as fast as a typical BSO. Might be that looney guy who keeps running into peds on his electric bike - watch out.
