the legend of Tim Tyler. with really awful dubbing of English over the German. meaning the words were still coming when the mouths had stopped and vice versa

I never got to watch that, my big sister hated it, and whatever she hated, we didn't get to see (despite the fact that she liked the biggest load of rubbish ever!).

That said, I thought it was 'Tyke Tyler'??

Hubster watched the new version on Netflix the other day. They don't say 'transmute' and go all wibbly wobbly any more and have proper super powers. Sounds really pants..

I have seen the original black and white French version, but when I were a kid in the '80s, it was a cartoon....... Which my sister hated, naturally....

While looking for it on Youtube, I saw that it had become a cartoon. I stuck about 15 seconds of it. Not nearly as good as Herge's Adventures of Tintin

Not quite School holidays but I remember me and my sister staying up watching this while my Mum & Dad were down the social club, used to get scary when they shutdown and Mum and Dad was out



Especially if we had watched this on the Saturday night as well!

That's quality viewing.
