You're very good at taking things out of context. I was talking about children who are deliberately trying to seriously main or kill me. This is something I take issue with, in much the same way as most people take issue with children who do other abnormal things like torturing other children. I see no reason why I should have to put up with unprovoked attacks from people while I'm just pootling along minding my own business.

Presumably you think that this the action of a relatively normal child who will respond to a couple of sentances of kindly advice from an adult. I would beg to disagree. At the very least, in a few years time they will be taking their driving tests and going out in the big wide world with exactly the same attitude to vulnerable road users.

You also talk about children but teenage boys are actually bigger than me, and there's usually more of them. Surely it's me who's in need of protection from them and not the other way round?

I didn't take anything out of context. The context was the statement that we are talking about shooting not other kinds of violence, I merely pointed to some contra examples.

But while we're at it you can stop presuming anything about me. I know as well as anyone can do what a job it is trying to get a child to behave safely and sanely. The main difference between me and the three or four others in this thread like yourself, is that I haven't stated a desire to have any children beaten up.

Teenage thugs, who are generally bigger than a 5'4" woman, and are being deliberately agressive towards said woman and trying to inflict actual bodily harm. Since when has violence towards women been acceptable? They're not the ones who need protecting.

I don't know why you're getting on my case, all I did was quote you. How you managed to extrapolate that to a suggestion that violence towards women is acceptable I don't know, but to put it like that is frankly offensive.

Like I said this thread is out of hand. The OP went along the lines of

Exactly, theres a difference between beating them up(slapping them about, punching them etc) and mowing them down/shooting them.
A big difference actually.

No no no you said mow them over. Which I took to be a reference to driving over them or something since we are talking about a road situation. I would put driving over someone more into the beating/violence category than the shooting category.

If your intention really was to have them shot then I retract my quote from some time above.

Yes, what he is going to do, is get a load of kids to lie in the road so he can drive over them.
That is exactly what he is going to do.
Not, what i was thinking, which was to go along hitting them, and flinging them up into the air, or knocking them straight down.

When all I'm doing is fantasizing about someone defending me against "children" who are to all extents and purposes almost fully grown males.

The problem here is that there's children and there's "children".

Both children and "children" are protected by law against violence and ritual humiliation but things have now gone full circle, and "children" now behave like this to adults instead.

Well it was a bit of a gimme when you posted that you would like some children beaten up. You are the only person in this thread who has stated that explicitly by the way.

No, a few runts came into 6th form, i grabbed hold of one, picked him up then threw him out, and a few other pushed the others out.
It was the last thing they said to us.
They havent been back in since
