Most times, if you see a Doc about a back problem you just get painkillers and told to rest. It will eventually "get better" but the underlying problem will still be there. Chiropracters treat the source of the problem which is usually a misalignment of the spine - vertebral subluxation. Your spine can be out of alignment from birth and it can just take some minor trauma, sudden twisting or poor posture to result in problems like Sciatica. Traditional chiro treatment is a bit like what you get at an osteopath, but (from my experience) less heavy-handed. Some chiropractors use a special activator tool which is kinder still.iv just been to a+e and they just gave me co codamol ! so you reckon the chiro thing is worth it ?il need to investigate ,its defo worth it if it works
