I have ‘too many bikes’ now apparently (yeah, I know!) And with buying a new road bike, one needs to go out.
2013 Scott Foil 10 HMX. Top of the range world tour frame, owned by me from new. Lots of upgrades (every item again bought new by me). Never been dropped, never been crashed. Barely a mark on the frame other than some paint rub under the front fork which isn’t visible in normal use, and a couple of paint chips around the dropouts.
Weighs pretty much bang on 7kg. I once had it at 6.1kg with super light wheels and Red mechanical. Steerer has been cut to give 10mm of adjustment - I’m 174cm tall with an 80cm inside leg.
SRAM Red eTap 11 speed (11-30 Ultegra cassette).
Force 22 50/34 chainset with Power2max Type S crank based power meter.
SRAM Red calipers with Swissstop Black Prince pads (pads less than 100 miles old)
Roval CL50 wheel set (done around 1500 miles)
Pirelli Race RS 26mm tyres tyres (done 300 miles)
SRAM ufo chain (done 300 miles)
Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost, stem and Evo Curve carbon bars.
Brand new Prologo Dimension saddle
Wants nothing anytime soon. Cranks have crankskins clear protection on them, seatpost has 3m tape to prevent bag rub. Comes with eTap battery charger, spare mech hanger (always carry one but never used it) and other spares. Pretty sure I have all the original cable guides that obviously aren’t needed with eTap.
Superb bike that has done 3 trips to the Alps and performed perfectly.
Looking for £1500.
