There are other issues with product pricing. The credit crunch/recession has had an effect. Shops will have been selling off old stock cheap to encourage turnover and we will have seen a small dip in prices. As shops re-stock, the goods bought will be now be more expensive as the £ has taken a dip compared to other currencies.
