hi
i need to get a little closer to the bars as i feel im stretching too much and my arms are straight when riding on top of the bars.i currently have a 20mm offset seat post and was looking for a in line or reversible post, can anyone give me some advice on this ? i cant really afford £60 to £70 for a Thomson or Cevelo so was hoping for something cheaper but have done a lot of searching without sucess.

Smoo is right. The saddle's relationship to the pedals is set by your inside leg measurement and the relative lengths of your femur and shin bones. If you can't reach the bars from the saddle move the bars not the saddle.

If you'd post a couple of pics of the bike in profile (one of them with you on it) we might be able to give you some more specific advice.
