Could anyone help? I've just bought a new Bickerton Junction folding bike and the seat post clamp lever is extremely stiff. I was able to open it to lower the seat post but I'm unable to close it again, it's just too stiff. I've sprayed it with WD40 and plan to try it again in the morning. Is there anything else I could try? As you can probably tell from this description, I'm not very good with the mechanics but am trying to learn!

Thanks.

I assume it's a quick release lever you're talking about? Just slacken the nut on the other side of the lever and all will be well. It should be stiff to close but not so tight you can't do it.

Yes, it is a quick release, I'll do that, thanks. I wasn't sure what i should be loosening and what I should be leaving alone!
