seatpost rack and carbon?

i want to do bit of light touring this year, are the seat post racks you can get ok to fit on a carbon seatpost and frame?
i have a carbon bianchi c2c.

Unless you have suspension why not use a proper rack. Cantilevering off the seatpost is engineering bollox.

have you ever seen carbon when it break's emmm dodgy stuff.
should be ok though, but why risk it. fit a aluminium seat post for this trip.

if I fit an ally seat post the. I assume the frame will be fine?
